South Tyrol

South Tyrol – like a picture book …

There is no picture book about mountains with images that cannot be found in South Tyrol: steep rocks and flowery pastures, chamois and squirrels, blue sky and shining sun, impressive peaks and old castles, nuts and wines, sausages and “speck”…

Everywhere else this would seem an incredible landscape, suspended between dream and reality – here in South Tyrol it is simply beautiful and original.

Thanks to the success of the folk music band „Kastelruther Spatzen“, now everyone knows that people in South Tyrol are fond of music: in South Tyrol there are more bands than villages, over two hundred!?
