The hotel sits high over the rooftops of Merano in the idyllic village of Hafling on the sunny high plateau, Tschöggelberg. Nestling amongst spruce and deciduous forests it is an oasis of tranquillity. The hotel offers its guests breathtaking views of the valley with the spa town Merano, the surrounding mountains and the romantic St Kathrein Church dating back to the 15th century.
Away from the bustle of mass tourism, the hotel is located in the small community of Hafling, home to the Haflinger horses. It can be easily reached via a wide panoramic road: 10 minutes from the town of Merano and from the ski and mountaineering resort Meran 2000, 30 minutes by car from the town of Bolzano, 1 hour to the Dolomites and to the Alpe di Siusi, 1.5 hours to Lake Garda.
